Grant Narratives for Core FundsFY 2011 • Narratives reference State Strategy: • Intro describing how work, overall, relates • Throughout narrative, reference how work relates to State Assessment and Strategy. • Indicate which activities meet multiple State objectives. • Work towards developing example templates that states may choose to use (optional) in FY 2011.
Grant Narratives for Core FundsFY 2012 and Beyond • RIC seek input from State & Fed. Staff on example templates piloted in FY2011 and refine. • Potentially use templates in FY 2012 “As grant narratives and the Assessments and Strategies become more intertwined, the template(s) will adapt and change…aiming for a streamlined and simple process.”
Competitive Grant ProposalsFY 2011 • Work proposed should align with State Strategy. • More discussion on NA approach today & tomorrow.
