  5. سُوۡرَةُ البَیّنَة -The Clear Evidence - #98 اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۙ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمۡ خَيۡرُالۡبَرِيَّةِ۷ جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنّٰتُعَدۡنٍتَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَبَدًا ‌ؕ رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُوۡا ٨عَنۡهُ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِىَ رَبّه 7.Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of all creatures. 8. Their reward with their Lord isParadise of Eternity, underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever. Allah will be well pleased with them, and they will be well pleased Allah. That is for him who fears his Lord.

  7. HONESTY - اَلصِّدْق يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ********* “O ye who believe! Be careful of your duty to Allah, and be with the honest /truthful.” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:119)

Definitionof HONESTY • Sidq (صِدق) means to be true, to be sincere, to speak honestly or to be right. • Honestyis a great quality of all virtues, such as fairness, truthfulness, integrity, sincerity, uprightness of character • Honestyis a refusal to lie, steal, or deceive in any way. • Honestymakes it easy for a person to do good deeds and opens the door to other virtues.

  9. LOVEandHONESTY Hadith “If anyone is pleased toloveAllah (swt) and His Messenger (sws), or rather to have Allah (swt) and His Messenger (sws) love him, should be honest by speaking the truth when he says anything, and fulfill his trust when he is in a position of trust.” (Al-Baihaqi)

Importance of Choosing Friends • It is very important to choose friends carefully. • Your friends will have an influence on the way you behave. • Honest/truthful friends will encourage you to fulfill your duties to Allah (swt) and help you keep on the straight path of Islam. • Hadith: “The best friend in the sight of Allah is he who is the well-wisher of his friends.” (Tirmidhi) • Hadith: “A person generally follows the way of his close friends. Everyone must judge a person by the friend he keeps.” (Abu Da’wud) 6. Allah (swt) has ordered us to join and be with people who uphold truth and honesty. (Surah At-Tawbah 9:119)
