  5. O que fazer no caso de picada de cobra: • Repouso; • Retirar o veneno; • Colocar uma atadura; • Aplique compressa fria; • Levar a vítima ao médico.

  6. O que não fazer: • Caminhar; • Curativo; • Cortar a pele; • Garrote; • Bebidas alcoólicas; • Perder tempo; • Sugar o sangue.

  7. Medidas para prevenção de picadas de cobra: • Uso de luvas longas, roupas de couro, calças compridas e camisas de mangas longas; • Não andar sem botas; • Verificar onde se vai colocar as mãos; • Limpeza; • Não segurar as cobras, mesmo que mortas;

  8. Capturar cobras exige treinamento e autorização legal; • Em acampamentos as portas dos carros devem permanecer fechadas; • Proteção dos predadores naturais das cobras; • A água não elimina a potência do veneno.
