Tuesday, June 30th at 7:00pm Neighborhood Workshop With City of Orlando Staff Master Plan Lake Highland Sports Complex The plans for Lake Highland Preparatory School’s sports complex on Lake Highland Dr/Brookhaven Dr were presented to the City of Orlando for review and comments late May. Once these plans are approved by the City they will be the Master Plan and changes to the plan will require city approval. The City wants input from the neighborhood so a meeting / workshop is scheduled on Tuesday, June 30th 7:00-9:00 PM The meeting will be held at Lake Highland Prep and representatives of the design team hired by Lake Highland will be present. Gate 2 on Marks St next to pool will be open and the meeting will be held in the new performing arts center. The goal of this meeting is a dialog between the neighborhood and the City. Traffic, lighting, noise, tree canopy are some of the issues to be addressed. Now is the time to have your concerns heard before the plan is approved by the City. A large turn out of neighbors will show we care about our neighborhood and we appreciate the city’s efforts to work with us on issues that will effect our neighborhood.
