Volunteer Positions • Aquarium Guide Apprentice Guide • Student Guide • Information Desk • Administrative/Clerical • Husbandry Operations and Conservation Research • Diver
Volunteer Agreement and Responsibilities • Each volunteer signs an agreement that reviews the condition of their volunteer relationship with the aquarium
Attendance Policy • Provide our visitors with the best experience possible • Be on time • Find a substitute • Notify the Volunteer Department if you are unable to find a substitute or are unable to be present.
Dress and Appearance Policy • Top: Solid white, light blue, navy, beige or black shirt blouse or turtlenecks. • Bottom: Solid beige, navy blue, black or gray slacks or skirt may be worn. • No denim material • Shoes: No high heels, open-toed shoes • Sweaters: May be worn over a shirt/blouse
Substitute Policy • You are responsible for arranging for a substitute if you are unable to keep your shift commitment • To get a Sub, Be a Sub!
Change in Status • Personal Leave-of-Absence 3 months • Medical Leave-of-Absence 5 months • Resignation • Emeritus Retirement • Disciplinary
Permit Parking • Permit should be placed on the dashboard of your car • Do not use the lot for personal business • Forget your parking permit? Notify the Volunteer Resources Department.
