2. What is air abrasion? • A new technology which comes in handy when filling teeth. This technology can replace the drill in certain situations, ex. when a tooth is in the early stages of decay or has slight decay. Dentists’ drill – everybody’s worst nightmare

3. How does it work? It uses an instrument which works like a mini sandblaster, aiming a very thin stream of aluminum oxide particles at the decayed parts of teeth.
