IFPS Course Objectives • Increase the level of understanding of IFPS, in particular: • The different checking performed for FPLs and associated messages. • The procedures applied by IFPS operators. • Increase the level of confidence and understanding in using the IFPUV for FPL validation and the Propose Routes function.

  3. IFPS Course Program • D1 - Morning: • General info and Rules • Standard correction procedure • Case studies + AD lines • Status: STS/ • Revalidation process • Latest changes and bits & pieces • Lunch

  4. IFPS Course Program • D1 - Afternoon: • RAD AUP UUP • POSRTE • Associated Messages • STAY and DLE • FRA: Free Route Airspace • IFPUV exercises: FPL validation and Propose Routes • Submission of FPL via NOP protected • AMOD and FLIGHT EFFECIENCY • IFPS Exercises

  5. CIAO (CHMI for AO) Course Objectives • -To get a better theoretical and practical understanding of CIAO and AOWIR • -To get a better understanding of the NMOC operations through a visit to the NMOC operations room.

  6. CIAO Course Program Day 2: • General overview of CHMI • Flight List explanations • AOWIR presentation / demo • Flight Suspension

  7. CIAO/NOP Course Program Day 3: • Visit Ops rooms in the morning • AOLO • IFPS (FP1) • CIAO exercises in the afternoon • Debrief
