WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE? • T Mobile and AT&T are two of the biggest service providers in the country. Both provide superior service and annoying ticks. At one point in 2011, AT&T tried to merge T Mobile into their company. Attempts for that did not go as planned. Today, both companies try to advertise their wireless service all over country. Wherever we go, we can point out flyers, “specials”, sales, and other advertisements in order for the companies to try to pull us into a contract. Although many do not like the sound of a contract, opening a 2 year contract with these services does provide us with a discounted phone. The price of the discounted phone is appealing to us due to its large drop form retail. • Although, prices do make a bigger difference when it comes to choosing a service provider, the phones also make a superior difference. Unlike T Mobile, AT&T was the first service to provide the very popular iPhone. Today, AT&T offers the iPhone 4S for $199.99 with a 2 year agreement. Unlike AT&T, T Mobile does not provide the iPhone with their plans, however many do use an iPhone on the T Mobile service. If the iPhone was to be built to work and be sold by T Mobile, I believe that there would be mass price competitions between not just AT&T, and T Mobile, but Verizon Wireless and Sprint. T Mobile does have the least expensive plans between the 3 other large carriers, however they do lack in their iPhone department which is holding them back from reaching superior success.
