SAE • Due May 10, 2007 • Every student is required to have a minimum of 18 hours of agricultural work experience or maintain an agriculture commodity outside the classroom. • Sheets Provided: • " Everyone is to Complete Leadership Activities pages • " Complete the Placement, Income and Expense Summary page, if you are working for someone else or you are keeping records of you hourly activities • " Complete the Entrepreneurship sheets, Operating Income and Operating Expense pages, if you are raising or growing an agriculture commodity. • To get the minimum requirements you must turn in records for the 18 hours. (Grade of 70%) • To increase your grade you may: (each will increase your score by 10%) ~ Turn in extra information on extra sheets. depending on your SAB • ~ Turn in an essay explaining what your SAE was about, and your experiences, (use questions on back of front sheet to formulate essay) • ~ Turn in pictures of you working on or with your SAE • ~ Turn in a poster explaining, with pictures etc. about your SAE • ~ Any Support material that shows what you accomplished with you SAE • If vou have another Agriculture class you may use the same SAE. yet you must turn in a copy of your SAE to each teacher

Reflection Questions • SAE questions to answer for your essay: • Briefly describe your SAE. (Include a description of the business/farm, working conditions, size, type of facilities, equipment available, etc.) (Where you keep it, did you build anything that you use? • How has your responsibilities changed during the time of your SAE? • Describe the personal goals, educational goals, and career goals you would like to achieve in the next ten years. • Briefly describe your SAE. Describe how you started. What interested and motivated you to begin? • When you were planning your supervised agricultural experience, what 2 or 3 goals and objectives did you plan to achieve at this point in your development? • Describe any special advantages or disadvantages that had a major impact on your achievements in your supervised agricultural experience program.
