There’s different extents to sexual assault and rape. A girl we know has been involved in a sexual assault incident. She was at her friends party it was a Saturday , they were all drinking the girl we know had taken her medication she needed to take for the day , this meant that she got drunk a lot easier than everyone else. She was found in a field by two of her sisters friends later that evening she was crying and couldn't remember anything, the next day she was taken to a police station where they found evidence that she was sexually assaulted. People that have this experience usually feel like its there fault, they feel embarrassed to tell anyone and they also feel dirty from what's happened and have been scarred for life but there are many ways you can get help and make that scar smaller and there is ways to get over it.
This rarely happens but if it does or has happen to you or in the future there is many ways to get help and people to tell, it isn't your fault in any way, don't feel like its your fault at all, there is many people you can tell e.g.. councillor, police, parents, teachers, friends or family. Don't feel afraid to tell someone or it will eat you up inside and you will feel like your the only person it has happened to and that your different to anyone else. Speak your experience, and the experience will ease.
