OBJETIVO • Signos vitales: FR, FC, Temperatura, peso y talla • Apariencia general • Estado de conciencia, ojos, lágrimas, mucosa oral, actitud ante los líquidos, pliegue abdominal, dolor abdominal, sangre en heces • Fiebre: Signos meníngeos, exantemas, hemorragias, ojos rojos Ibarra JH, Alvarez E. www.sos.com.co

  4. ANÁLISIS • Enfermedad muy grave • EDA (A09X) • Disentería (A049) • Caso probable de cólera (A009) • Diarrea persistente Ibarra JH, Alvarez E. www.sos.com.co

  5. ANÁLISIS • Deshidratación grave (2 o más signos) • Letárgico o inconsciente. • Bebe mal o no puede beber. • Ojos hundidos. • Signo del pliegue cutáneo: la piel vuelve muy lentamente al estado anterior (> 2 segundos). Ibarra JH, Alvarez E. www.sos.com.co

  6. Algún grado de Deshidratación (2 o más signos) Intranquilo, irritable. Bebe ávidamente, con sed. Ojos hundidos.   9. DISENTERÍA TMS 8mg/kg/día de TMP (bid) x 5 días Ampicilina 50mg/kg/día (qid) x 5 días CÓLERA TMS 8mg/kg/día de TMP (bid) x 5 días Eritromicina 50mg/kg/día (tid) x 5 días TRATAMIENTO Ibarra JH, Alvarez E. www.sos.com.co

  10. TRATAMIENTO • Fiebre • Alimentación según edad • Lactancia materna • Medidas higiénicas • Otros medicamentos (Antibióticos, antiparasitarios, antidiarreicos, antieméticos, antiespasmódicos, restablecedores de flora intestinal, zinc) • Desaconsejar bebidas azucaradas, rehidratantes deportivos, y gaseosas • Desaconsejar automedicación Ibarra JH, Alvarez E. www.sos.com.co
