Other Islamic groups that are not part of ISIS would almost definitely attempt to harm US soldiers if they returned to the Middle East. Telos — Retaliating against the ISIS would be a huge challenge against the US because we have to go against other terrorist groups also while we are in the mid east. The writer made it clear it would be a bad decision to send ground troops because we will lose a lot of troops for a war we do not need to be apart of. The other side would to be retaliate against the Iraq government and not send in ground troops and let them fight there own war.
