  2. TeacherProficiency Requirements Your Path To Proficiency Assessment: Take the technology proficiency assessment. Professional Development Workshops: View targeted professional development based on the assessment results (yearly requirement). Renewal Credits: Upload either one 45-hr graduate or recertification course in technology or 60 renewal credits in technology during the certification validity period (every 5 years) Portfolio: Upload portfolio documentation based on your technology level (Developing or Mastery). All proficient staff must successfully complete a Mastery Level Portfolio.

  3. TeacherLogin We have created a "wizard"-style authentication interface that asks the users one question at a time to match them with the appropriate account in the system

  4. TeacherLogin • The user will then be asked to continue verifying their account by entering • the password • If the password is correct, click on the Login button to access the system

  5. TeacherLogin • If your email is not in the system or if you are a new user, click on the • register for a new account link • You can then complete the information and take your assessment as a • provisional user

  6. Home Page Taking an Assessment Click on the Assessment Icon to take your assessment. If you score 80% or higher on the assessment, you will complete a mastery level portfolio. If you score less than 80%, you will complete a developing level portfolio.

  7. Home Page Professional Dev. Workshops • Click on the Professional Development Workshops Icon to receive professional development based on your technology assessment.

  8. Professional Dev. Workshops Users can upload their professional development workshops.

  9. Professional Dev. Workshops Users will have access to the Atomic Learning tutorials on the Professional Development Workshops page

  10. Home Page Renewal Credits Click on the Renewal Credits icon to view the online courses offered by the Office of eLearning

  11. Renewal Credits Teachers will be able to satisfy the course requirement by taking and uploading either one 45-hr graduate or recertification course in technology or 60 renewal credits in technology during the certification validity period

  12. Renewal Credits Users will have access and can register for an online course offered by the Office of eLearning on the Renewal Credits page

  13. Home Page Portfolios Accountability is built into the system in the form of customizable ePortfolios. All teachers will complete an ePortfolio based on their technology ability level. Click on the Portfolio icon to view portfolio requirements

  14. Portfolios The portfolio page will provide a summary and a detailed description of the portfolio. Users can upload portfolio documents.

  15. Portfolio Requirements for Special Users Administrators, Counselors, Media Specialists, and Special Needs Teachers will have different portfolio requirements.

  16. Updating Contact Information • Click on the My Profile Tab (top of page) to change or update any of your information

  17. Help and Resource Page The Help and Resource Page provides access to portfolio requirements, lesson templates, training PowerPoint, and portfolio rubrics
