The scope of Industrial internet has spread into the generic internet connectivity in contrary to the closed systems that have been used across industries for ages. The closed systems depended mostly on physical security to establish integrity.

  3. Description • A shift has occurred from closed systems to open system over time. This has increased an interdependence and an overlap in between OT and IT. This has given rise to new security concerns. This change was triggered by need for smart analytics using data generated from machines to access, improve and provide optimization of the manufacturing process. This is enabled by Ampcus Cyber.
