Eid-ul-Adha • Eid UlAdha is the Festival of the Sacrifice • The first day of Eid- Ul –Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of Duhl-Hijja, that is the last month of the Islamic year • This festival remembers the Prophet Ibrahim’s (A.S) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail (A.S) when ALLAH ordered him. • The time for Salat-ul-Eidstarts when the sun rises • Muslims offer Two Rak’ahs prayer of Eid on open places or in Mosque.

  3. Eid-ul-Adha • Its special feature is the sacrifice of animals like goat, sheep and camel etc. in the way of Allah after Salat-ul-Eid. • Meat of sacrificed animal is divided into three parts. 1- For poors 2-For relativesand friends 3-For your ownself • EidulAdha is a three day celebration

Eid-ul-Adha • Everyone wears new clothes - in bright colours and many have beautiful embroideries. • - Yummy sweets and desserts are then eaten to mark the occasion • Eid cards, gifts and money are often exchanged • Friends and families like to get together on Eid to celebrate the special day/s
