  4. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr celebrates the fact that Allah (God) gave Muslims the Qur’an to help them live good lives Qur’an

  8. On the morning of Eid everyone dresses up in their best clothes and shoes

  9. Girls and women like to decorate their hands with beautiful patterns using mendhi paste (henna)

  13. After prayers everyone wishes each other a huge ‘EID MUBARAK’ ‘HAPPY EID’

  14. Yummy sweets and desserts are then eaten to mark the occasion

  15. Friends and families like to get together on Eid to celebrate the special day/s

  16. Eid cards, gifts and money are often exchanged

  17. Everyone looks forward to eating lots of delicious food on Eid day, especially after all that fasting!
