Importance of Time Management in AUCA • Independent Study • 4 hours per one class in lecture or seminar given so much freedom, students need to know how to manage their time. Some students are overwhelmed with the freedom they receive and are not able to cope with classes and assignments
Consequences • Failing to keep up with the classes • Failing or getting low grades for classes • Failing to keep up with Graduation Requirements, thus staying for the fifth year • Losing the Financial Aid • Being on Academic Probation • Spending very little time with Family, Friends and Yourself • Not being able to enjoy your hobbies • Not having time for anything except studies • Depression
Procrastination • Step 1. When and in what situations do you consistently procrastinate? • Become aware of when you are avoiding something and write it down. Then analyze the list – You will find a pattern.
