1919 Solar Eclipse Anniversary: Return Expedition & Commemorative Activities

Join the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the total solar eclipse of 29 May 1919 at www.1919eclipse.org. Activities include a return expedition, installation of a commemorative plaque, public lectures, and an exhibition on the history of lensing. While there won't be an eclipse on cue, we welcome any other good ideas for the event. This occasion is sponsored by the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS), International Astronomical Union (IAU), Gulbenkian Foundation, and the Portuguese Ministry of Science.
