ePATS • Designed to support and enhance student preparation for Florida's CBTs • Provide students with direct exposure to the format and structure of test items
Who is required to use ePATS? • FDOE requires that ALL students who participate in aSpring 2013 CBT • Most students will use the TestNavePAT • Students with IEP or 504 Plan that require certain accommodations, will use the TestHear accommodated ePAT
When are the ePATS taken? • Students must take an ePAT practice test for every CBT they will take, no later than THREE weeks before the actual CBT administration • Students retaking an assessment (same grade/subject), are NOT required to retake the ePAT for that grade/subject
The content of ePATS will NOT accurately reflect: • Level of difficulty of items on the CBTs • How a student will perform on the CBTs
Access to ePATS • ITSA/STST can deploy ePATs via LANDesk to any computer • ePATsoftware is independent of TestNavand can be used on any computer • ITSA/STST can submit a HEAT work order or call the IT Service Desk (PX 44100/242-4100) for support
