2. Vertebrate • Birds are vertebrate that has a back bone

3. Habitat • Places around the world. • They live in trees and some live on the ground. • Penguins live in icy cold area.

4. Warm-Blooded • It means they don’t change their temperature much

5. Life cycle • The mother lays an egg it grows to a hatchling and grows feathers then it learns how to fly and then it grows to a adult.

6. How do they breathe They breathe with lungs.

7. Body Covering • They have scales on their feet. • birds have feathers • Feathers can keep the bird warm, camoflauge them from predators, and help them attract a mate

8. Reproduce • They only ley eggs.

9. Special body parts/beaks • Bird have bills without teeth beaks help them catch their prey. They peek wood to also to get food.

10. Wings • They have hollow bones that don’t weigh them down when they fly. Birds wings help them glide though the sky.

11. Talons • They grab their pray to take back to their young or to eat. They also have scales on their talons.

12. Feathers • Feathers help them keep warm and dry. They also make them camofloge or to attract a mate.

13. Migrations • Birds migrate to find food or get warmer weather. They go in groups or one goes by itself.

14. Species • Parrot, Eagle,Hawk,Humming bird ,Falcon, Owl

15. Birds food • Worms, sometimes they eat fish, some eat snakes and some eat mice.
