Week 2: Research • 20 powerpoint slides or more, in English • Use alloptions of powerpoint At last: ask your English teacher to copy it to the USB stick! A research about your own Holland-American subject:How to build it?

Your powerpoint will be marked! • Points of attention: • The content • The structure: an introduction, a few chapters and a conclusion. • Use many pictures / tables / graphs to SHOW your story • Don’t use much text! (A longer text in your own word doc.?) • Use your own language (so DO NOT copy text!) • Use the English language in an understandable way. • Use at least 20 slides in your powerpoint • Use ALL options that powerpoint offers: • insert pictures, • insert music, • insert movies, • insert animations, etc.

In the introduction you make clear what you are going to research, and why that. • Some words about your subject 2: Title and Research questions nr. 1 +2 Maybe 3+4. • Subject title / Research question • Research question 1 (= Chapter1) • Research question 2 (= Chapter2) • Research question 3 (= Chapter 3) • Ask • your expert teachers • if they are O.K. • Research question 4 (= Chapter 4) In these chapter titles you justmentionthe questions! Save your answers for the conclusion.

Your personal view • How was it to do this research and to make a powerpoint? • (Write this in the same slide.) • Deelconclusie 3 (idem). • Ready? • Ask the Comenius assistent / your English teacher • to copy your powerpoint to her / his USB stick!
