We should be Patriots so we can be a free country and not under British control because we didn't like the British telling us what to do..

    2. The Taxes The taxes on newspapers, tea and pamphlets kept on coming. This is a bad thing because it was for paying the British army and not for helping the colonists.

    3. A Free Country We should be Patriots so we can be a free country and not under British control because we didn’t like the British telling us what to do.

    4. The Trade Issue We should be Patriots because Great Britain wouldn’t let us trade with other countries. This is a bad thing because Britain used the colonies to become rich.

    5. Army Issue [No Vote] Britain kept putting armies in the colonies without the colonists’ vote. This is a bad thing because they [the British soldiers] kept on barging into people’s homes without permission.

    6. Another Tax Issue The British cut off taxes in Britain and not in the colonies. This is a bad thing because it is not fair for the colonists.
