  2. Turtles and tortoise are the innocent sea creatures that play a vital role in health of the land and the oceans. Marine biologists say that the existence of the sea turtles is very important for the well-being of our eco-system. www.tortoise.com

  3. Leopard tortoise: Leopard tortoises are mostly found in savannah as they are well adapted to the semi-dry weather. These tortoises stay active during the day times and sleep early to avoid cold night times. • Redfoot Tortoise: These tortoises are popular as pets as they live longer and very low maintenance.   4. Sulcata Tortoise: They are big in size and good as house pet due to their size and long life.They are the third largest tortoise species in the world.
