WELCOME PARENTS! Please sign in on the clipboard. The course outline, vocabulary resources, and my contact information can be found on my CR North website under ‘Faculty.’ A little about me; a little more about the course.
ENGLISH 9 • Literature (R&J, TKMB, And Then There Were None, Animal Farm, The Illustrated Man, selected short stories, A Raisin in the Sun) – personal copies can be used (annotation and extra credit), hard copies available on the counter • Various nonfiction articles and poetry (Annotation, Research Paper, Historical Connection, etc.) • Council Rock School District strongly encourages parents to survey the outstanding collection of challenging literature contained within our program. Much of the content presents important and complex ideas that encourage critical thinking. Any connection discussed in class is made that much stronger by the conversation and connections that are made at home. We invite you to discuss any of the elements of our courses with your child’s teacher.
