  2. What is Chloroplast? Chloroplast is an organelle containing chlorophyll that conducts photosynthesis in plants. A typical leaf may contain as many as 50 chloroplast.

  3. Plasma Membrane The Plasma membrane is composed of phospholipids, polysaccharides and proteins. It is a thin membrane found right on the inside of the cell wall. It forms a stable barrier between the inside and outside of the cell. Its functions are selectively transporting molecules .

  4. ThylakoidMembrane The Thylakoid Membrane is a system of connected membranes that show the light reactions of photosynthesis.

  5. Granum Granum is a series of stacked thylakoids or small particles of chlorophyll found in the inner membrane of chloroplast. Two or more stacks are called Grana.
