Making the Call What to say: Your name, position, situation, location Be prepared to give: • Person’s gender & approx. age • “chief complaint” • Events leading up • What you’re doing for them • Phone numbers • Exact directions to your location • Any other information they ask for
Let’s just avoid all that Trailhead procedures: • Assess your participants • Ask about where they’re at • Modify activities if needed • Remind participants of weather, distance, time, what they need to bring – and give them time to get ready. • Count your noses!
