  3. Tools of Geometry Vocabulary • Each person will take a piece of paper. On the paper you will either have a word or a definition. • Ask other students if they are your “match” until it is found. Once it is found, take another piece of paper until they are all done.

  4. Definitions • Collinear -lying on or passing through a single straight line • Coplanar - lying in the same plane • Parallel - lines that are always the same distance apart, never meet • Perpendicular - lines that intersect to form a right angle • Skew Lines - two straight lines that do not lie in the same plane, are not parallel, and do not intersect • Midpoint -the point on a line that is halfway between the endpoints • Bisect - to divide something into two exactly equal parts
