Registration • PIs do not have to register to Grants.gov. The institution, NJMS, is already registered. • For NIH grants, you do need an eRA Commons User ID. If you do not know your eRA Commons User Id, please contact your grant administrator in ORSP.
Finding A Grant Opportunity • Go to www.grants.gov to search and apply.
This is the grant application. Please save it to your computer or disc.

Your Application is Complete. Now How do You Submit? • Now that you have saved your application, checked for errors, and you need to submit….. Get it to ORSP
Getting your Application to ORSP • There are three ways of getting your application to ORSP: • e-mail the PureEdge form to ORSP administrator (file size constraints) • Walk it down to MSB C-690 on disc/CD/ or thumb drive • Submit the file through the NJMS Intranet • All applications must be accompanied by an approved GAFA and completed financial disclosure form (FDF). This process does not eliminate the internal routing process of the university.
