  3. Currently in Algebra 1… …you could take… Functions, Algebra, and Data Analysis Geometry

  4. If you… Need lots of extra practice before “getting” a math concept… Wish you had a better grade in Algebra 1… Want to feel more confident with your Algebra skills… • Take Functions!!!

  5. If you… Did well in Algebra 1… Got a good SOL score… Have good math skills and strong study skills… • Take Geometry!!!

  6. Currently in Functions… …you should take… Geometry… Algebra 2… If you have not taken it already. If you have already taken Geometry.

  7. Currently in Geometry… …you could take… Functions, Algebra and Data Analysis Algebra 2 Algebra 2 w/ Trigonometry (H)

  8. If you… Want to strengthen your math skills before moving on to Algebra 2… Want to take a course that addresses some realistic applications of math… Want to feel more confident with your Algebra skills… • Take Functions!!!

  9. If you… Did well in Algebra 1 (good grade, good SOL score)… Plan on attending a 4 year university with a math requirement… Have good math fundamental skills… • Take Algebra 2!!!

  29. If you… Are looking for a semester math elective… Want to gain a basic knowledge of statistics to use in college science courses… Have passed Algebra 2… • Take Statistics/Probability!!!

  31. Remember… Standard Diploma… Advanced Diploma… • 3 math classes • 1 verified credit (passed SOL) • 4 math classes (including Algebra 2 or above) • 2 verified credits (passed SOL)
