Background • CPSEs Conclave held on April 9, 2018 • Presentation on following four themes by CMDs • Corporate Governance • Reinventing HR • Financial Reengineering • Innovation, R&D and Technology • Prime Minister posed 5 challenges to CPSEs • Timeframe of 100 days given for preparation of action plans by CPSEs on PM’s challenges and recommendations of CPSEs Conclave

Components of the Action Plan • 5 Challenges posed by Hon’ble PM • Maximising Geo Strategic Reach • Minimising Import Bill • Integration of Innovation and Research • Single CSR Theme (2 parameters) • New Development Model (5 parameters) • Other Challenges posed by PM during review meeting on 5.11.2018 (4 parameters) • Points based on thematic recommendations (8 parameters)

  12. Common Mistakes while inputting the data • The milestones are not clear and specific. Many places, milestone dates are not mentioned • If value in a particular unit is requested, inputting data in another unit will lead to erroneous consolidation of the data • “Status” column is for numeric values mostly, all details/remarks are to go in “Remarks” column • Long & descriptive entries would be difficult to consolidate. Only the significant projects/activities to be listed • Recognition of Prior Learning Certification (Not a CSR activity for the youth of nearby villages) • Strategic Conferences Total vs at New Tourist Destinations
