Mission Statement Holmdel High School, in a safe, student-centered, and rigorous learning environment, promotes academics, athletics, and the arts, values the cultural diversity of its community and, through varied curricular and co-curricular programs, empowers all students to develop their potential into achievement and take their place in our global society as ethical decision makers and life-long learners.

District Goals • Implementing the Common Core • Student Mastery of Technology • S.T.E.M. • Instructional Time Allocation • Visual and Performing Arts
Building Goals • Chrome Books • PARCC • Rotating Schedule • Middle States • HHS “Open House” – Oct. 29th
Senior Portraits - Yearbook • Over the past several years, for various reasons, more and more students have expressed discomfort with being compelled to choose the traditional tuxedo or cape as their yearbook photo. • In order to remain an inclusive community, sensitive to the needs of all, we will be allowing students to choose their own formal wear for their photos.
Senior Portraits - Yearbook • Each photo shoot will consist of 3 different poses: 1. the required yearbook photo (personal formal wardrobe) 2. the “cap and gown” photo; 3. a choice between a casual photo or a “tux/drape” photo (provided by the studio)
Senior Portraits - Yearbook • Males: ashirt, tie, and jacket. The studio will have a few jackets on hand for those who may not own one. • Females: a nice top, appropriate for a formal yearbook photo. (A blouse or dress is fine.)
