Draw: Further Understanding: How does Magical Realism connect to agency? *Magical realism can sometimes set-up a plot for a character so that the character will have to express his/her agency in accordance to the plot, EXAMPLE: Erendira’s “Wind of misfortune” *When the author uses magical realism, it helps to show how they view the world and also so the character can get his/her agency *Agency is your power, you can create your own agency through use of magical realism *Magical realism can create the character and it influences the decisions that this character makes *A character can express his/her agency through use of an element of magical realism (i.e. Ulises changing objects’ color)
