  5. Ecological Problems • Under present trends, by 2030, maize production in Southern America could decrease by up to 30% while rice and maize in Bolivia could decrease by up to 10% • Bolivia has a very vulnerable ecosystem, which makes global warming a leading factor in decreased crops.
