CHEAT SHEET Distribution and return rates by institution, drillable to chief of service code and investigator Accountability: ECF Return Effort Performance Metrics Report • Monitoring • Central: Effort Certification Team will monitor return rates and distribute email reminders and escalation notices • Investigators: Investigators will complete their own ECFs. • PIs: PIs will complete their own ECFs and aid their administrators in achieving 100% return for their lab • Departments: Dept Admins and Effort Managers will monitor their return rates and follow-up for 100% completion • Chairs/Chiefs: Chairs/Chiefs will monitor their return rates and aid their administrators in achieving 100% return for their service • Institutions: Sr. VP of Research, Institutional Research Administrators, and Compliance Officers will monitor return rates and determine if any further action is needed in addition and in response to the escalation notices • Resolution • Reminders: Effort Certification Team will distribute email reminders to users for follow through on the ECF • Day 1 – To effort manager notifying them of ECF generation • Day 15 – To effort manager reminding them to finish pre-review ECF if not completed • Day 20 – To investigator reminding them to finish certification and cc: Effort Manager to further prompt them to move the ECF to their investigator’s queue if not already moved in queue • Day 27 – To investigator reminding them to finish certification and cc: Effort Manager and Department Administrator to further prompt them to move the ECF in queue
