The MINNI Project and RAINS-Italy

The MINNI Project is a 3-year initiative led by the Italian Agency for New Technologies Energy and the Environment, aimed at developing a National Integrated Modelling System for air pollution control. The project focuses on scenario analysis, environment and health impacts, policy assessment, and stakeholder support. It has implemented the Eulerian Model AMS RAINS-Italy and has future potential improvements in terms of resolution and extension to heavy metals and greenhouse gases.
