  2. Types Of Sentences Declarative : A sentence that talks about the thing or area Exam . This is one dry desert. (It ends with a period) Interrogative : A sentence that asks a question Exam . What is this place? (Ends with a Question mark) Exclamatory : relating to a sudden cry or remark, especially one expressing surprise, anger, or pain Exam . Wow, this is so hot! __ (Ends with a exclamation mark) IMPERATIVE : A sentence that tells a command or an order Exam . Give me a glass of water. (Ends with a period and ends with exclamation mark)

  3. Declarative sentences is like a statement, and also ends with a period. The declarative sentence is named appropriately because it declares or states something. E X A M P L E

  5. EXCALAMATORY SENTENCES Is.. An exclamatory sentence, or exclamation, is a more forceful version of a declarative sentence. In other words, an exclamatory sentence makes a statement (just like a declarative sentence)

  6. Imperative sentences is a order or request.

  7. A complete sentence is talking about a (something) and not the this complete sentence, "Claire" is the subject, "walks" is the verb, and "dog" is the object. ("Her" is simply a required pronoun in this example.) Beyond these basic elements, a complete sentence must also express a complete thought. We need to fully understand what's happening.
