  2. Medals • What do they mean? • Gold, silver, bronze • What’s the bigger message? • What about those who come in 4th, 5th, 6th, etc? • Do we see/earn “medals” at school?

  3. Teams • Team Bobsled • Team Snowboard • Team Skate • Team Ski • Team Luge You will compete for medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze)

  4. 1st Event • Ongoing • Behavior • Following Directions • Respectfulness (Peers and Adults) • Work Ethic • Self-Control • Individuals who break these rules cause their team to be disqualified from the event. The last 3 teams medal in this event.

  5. 2nd Event • Written test • How much do you remember about our lessons? • Work as a team • Final test scores determine medals

  6. Test • Name 3 Career Café careers that were presented this year. There have been 5 so far. • We talked about a person (Sam) who had a philosophy for a happy life. What was one of his tips? • Last week we played a card game. There were 4 types of groups you could be in – what were they?

  7. Test • To practice respect, we interviewed adults at our school. Name 2 of those adults. • We wrote our own poem based on a video we watched. What was the poem called? Hint: Think of the door we made. • We discussed the difference between the ways boys often bully and the ways girls often bully. Name one difference.

  8. Test • We watched an episode of the Science of Happiness where individuals had to compete in a challenge. Which group did better: The happy group (the ones with the snacks, gift cards, etc.) or the typical group (no extras)? • What is the core value this month? • What is the difference between a bystander and an upstander? • There are 4 colors in the career lesson we had – name all 4 colors.

  9. Individual Event • What would I earn a gold, silver, and bronze medal for? • What are my challenges? (What I haven’t “medaled in” yet)

  10. Individual Event • Write down your assigned students • What would each of those students medal in? • Take your time • Be thoughtful • Be honest • Be respectful, caring, and empathetic
