Definition of Terms Result Based Management -A management strategy focusing on performance and achievement of outputs, outcomes and impacts Outcome-a change in conditions between the completion of outputs and the achievement of impact. Output: Tangible product/ services of a VET policy or prog. that is necessary to achieve the objectives.
Definition of Terms Monitoring: A continuing function that aims primarily to provide managers and main stakeholders with regular feedback and early indications of progress or lack thereof in the achievement of intended results.
Definition of Terms Performance measurement: The collection, interpretation of, and reporting on data for performance indicators which measure how well programmes or projects deliver outputs and contribute to achievement of higher level aims (purposes and goals).
