Izmir has a unique geographical feature which connects Asia with Europe, the Black Sea with the Mediterranean and it is located in the farthest west of the East and the farthest east of the West.

Izmiris a city of fairs and congresses. It has a 79 year of fair experience with having organized Turkey’s first international trade fair,” İzmir International Fair’’.
Izmiris a city of commerce, and is on the second place in the country for export / import coverage ratio. Izmiris a city of industry; there are 19 organized industrial zones and 2 free trade zones in İzmir.
Izmir Harbour • Harbour of Izmir has been very important throughout history.
Izmiris a coastal town; and an important point for the transportation of Europe’s products to Asia and Asia’s products to Europe.
Izmir is a well-educated city with a continuously improving quality of life and it is also home to city of universities.
