  3. Basic Information • When: 1194-1184 BC • Where: Troy (Turkey) • Why: Paris stole Menelaus’ wife, Helen.

  4. Geography • The Greek had to cross the Aegean Sea to get to Troy.

  5. The Spartan Army • Lead by Odysseus and Achilles • Achilles got shot in the Heel • Then he died

  6. The End of the War • The Greeks built a big Wooden Horse and gave it to the Trojans

  7. End of the War (Part 2) • The Spartans hid in the horse and burned their city down while they were asleep.

  8. After The War • Odysseus got lost • Stuck at sea for about 20 years • He got home eventually

  9. Odysseus • There was a bunch of guys trying to marry his wife • He killed them all
