What to include • A title page • A contents page • “Title” pages for each section of your plan • INITIAL BUSINESS IDEA • METHODS USED TO IDENTIFY THE TARGET MARKET • THE SKILLS NEEDED TO RUN THE BUSINESS SUCCESSFULLY • THE LEGAL ASPECTS THAT WILL AFFECTTHE START-UP OF THE BUSINESS • THE FINANCIAL ASPECTS THAT WILL AFFECT • THE START-UP OF THE BUSINESS • PRODUCE AN OUTLINE BUSINESS PROPOSAL • Number each page of your proposal and put your page numbers in your contents page

Prepare a small presentation • You need to produce a small presentation to present your business proposal. • I would suggest a minimum of three slides. • To accompany each slide you must also include written notes. • Use PowerPoint to develop the presentation • There is an example below to help you

My Business Application • Applications are becoming more and more popular each year and young people are starting to make large amounts of money from selling them. • My application offers business students the chance to revise and complete small revision tests using their mobile phone where ever they are.

Describe your long term plans to the bank manger. • What will your business look like in 12 months time? • Have you got any plans for how to develop the business further • Expansion • Online • More shops • What will your business look like in 5 years time? Attach this presentation to the back of your complete proposal

  7. Distinction • To gain a distinction, your business plan must be comprehensive and must address all of the relevant aspects of your business start up. All reports must be well written and fluent.
