Tasks • Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects, such as English, mathematics, or social studies. • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. • Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.

  3. Degrees needed to be a high school teacher • Bachelor's degree • Master's degree

  4. Tools and technology • Using computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information. • Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Knowledge • Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching and instructing individuals and groups. • English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. • Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications • And more..

It doesn’t involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

  9. Why I would like to become a high school teacher. I would like to become a high school teacher because I would like to be around that age group rather than being around little kids. I believe that I’d be able to relate to older kids better.

I also get great vacation and benefits like health and retirement. 2.What do you see as a key necessity for your job?
