  5. OMEGA’S FUNDING SOURCES • Appalachian Regional Commission • Economic Development Administration • Governor’s Office of Appalachia • Revenue from Revolving Loan Program • Membership Dues (15¢ per capita) • Grant Administrative Fees

  6. OMEGA’S ROLE • Facilitate economic and community development through networking, education, planning, research, and allocation of resources • Advocate and collaborate with federal and state elected officials and agencies (regional voice)

  8. OMEGA’s ROLE • Provide Funding Assistance and Training • Administer Grants (such as CDBG) and Loans • Conduct Environmental Reviews • Coordinate with Local, State and Federal Agencies • Assist with Project Planning • Clearinghouse Review • NRAC District 14 Liaison

Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy • Provides an Investment Strategy with Capital Improvement Plan to Promote Economic Development • Defines Economic Conditions within District • Provides Important Statistical Reference Tool • Qualifies OMEGA’s Members for Potential Funding Assistance from Economic Development Administration
