  5. Summary Mrs. Wushy told her class that the first grade was going to do a grade winter Olympics. It was going to happen on Friday. Freddy signed up for the snow shoe race. Freddy didn’t know how to snow shoe. So Jessie and Robbie came over to teach Freddy how to snow shoe. Soon Friday came and it was race time! When it was time for the snow shoe race Freddy was scared. 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Freddy, Max and a boy from the other class took off from the starting line. Max fell and Freddy went and helped Max up. By the time he had done that the boy from the other class had passed them. Freddy ran passed him and slid his foot over the finish line first and won. Freddy had won for his class and he had won the bet.

  6. What class won And how? • Class 4 won the first grade winter Olympics. • Class 3 won 3 events. Class 4 won 2 events. • It was tied. Freddy slid his foot over the finish line first and won.
