Graph Weights to Code MDS The graph weights are displayed and used to determine the ADL Score
Using Graph Weights Let’s set up a report to calculate the average substitute meal intake. • Go to the Substitute Meal series • Check the Graph Weights. Will they be useful when calculating the report? • In reports, copy the meal intake detail report • Paste the report to your favorite folder • Rename the report ‘Substitute Meal Report
Let’s Review Report Selections • Available Fields • Exclude • Ask At Runtime • Select Range • Starting Value and Ending Value
Available Fields Search in Help for ‘Available Fields’
Exclude Quest Test of ‘Fluid Intake in CC’s’
Select Range All Choose All when you want all of the available field you selected Custom Custom Ranges are used for an alphabetical range of the available field or just one Select Select Ranges are used to choose more than one available field that is not in alphabetical order

Creating a Report • Create a Staff Master List displaying only the RN’s • Create a ‘No BM in last 9 shifts Cross Tab Report’ displaying only residents in the North Wing • Create a Report to display the number of times a resident was incontinent in the past 48 hours (Hint: Use the Available Field: Observe Choice)
