  2. Informer Reports • Query among several files • Using “or” • Savedlists and TCL selections • Prompts: TCL/ECL and prompt re-use • Simple Row level security using user-defined fields.

  3. Reports Linked Files Reports listing information from one file may select from many files. Use “returning” to save unique keys.

  4. Report Using “or” comma separated values is a simple or – i.e. people from NC or VA Complex “or”s will consolidate results from different selects

  5. ReportSavedlists You may save a list with save-list export, via a schedule, or with using TCL after Use TCL/Before to get the list

  6. Report Prompts TCL prompts use “<<>>” and are always mandatory Report prompts may be tagged. One criterion that has ?1 will be re-used for another criterion with ?1 Custom prompts act as tags

  7. Reports and User-defined Fields A user-defined field may be used as a value for a criterion by using braces {user.fieldname} e.g. {user.state}
