  2. (2Ki 17:41) So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

  3. We ESTEEM the Judgment of the Lord vs.27-28

  4. (2Ki 17:27-28) Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land. Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.

  5. (Isa 29:13) Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

  6. (Pro 1:7) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

  11. (2Ki 17:29-33) Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt. And the men of Babylon made Succothbenoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima, And the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim. So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.

  16. “Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech” Honor and image of the King GOD OF HONOR AND IMAGE

  17. (1Jn 2:15) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1Jn 2:16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

  18. We ESTEEM the Judgment of the Lord vs.27-28 We ENJOY our relationships with our gods vs.29-33 We ENDOW our sins to our children vs.41

  19. (2Ki 17:41) So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

  20. (Exo 34:7) Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
