Altiris IT Management Suite 7.0 Licensing Example:1,000 License Purchase • Customer purchases 1,000 licenses of IT Management Suite 7.0 and receives the following: • 1,000 client and server licenses • Licenses can be applied to any mix of clients and servers up to 1,000 • 1 Asset Management Suite license • 1 ServiceDesk core and 5 Analyst licenses (10 Analysts total) • 2 Wise Package Studio Licenses • Unlimited usage of Workflow Solution Altiris IT Management Suite 7.0 Licensing, Pricing, and Entitlements – Symantec Confidential

Pricing Guidelines • Minimum purchase of 200 licenses required • IT Management Suite should not be sold in place of Server Management Suite • Server Management Suite is designed to only manage servers • MSRP with basic maintenance is $411.00 • IT Management Suite is designed for comprehensive IT management: clients, servers, IT assets, and IT services • Pricing of IT Management Suite is modeled after a mix of clients and servers Altiris IT Management Suite 7.0 Licensing, Pricing, and Entitlements – Symantec Confidential

Current Altiris Total Management 6 Suite Customer • Customers with current maintenance on Total Management Suite 6 are eligible to a license for license entitlement of Altiris IT Management Suite 7.0. • 1,000 licenses of Total Management Suite can be exchanged for 1,000 licenses of IT Management Suite 7.0 Altiris IT Management Suite 7.0 Licensing, Pricing, and Entitlements – Symantec Confidential

Entitlement for Recovery Solution • Customers of Total Management Suite 6 with current maintenance are eligible to exercise an entitlement towards BackupExec System Recovery. • IMPORTANT: In order to accommodate existing Total Management Suite 6 customers who want to purchase incremental nodes of Total Management Suite 6, Altiris IT Management Suite 7 will fulfill licenses for both versions. Entitlements for Handheld Components • Inventory and Software Delivery for Handhelds were included in Total Management Suite 6 • There will not be an entitlement of Total Management Suite 6 to Symantec Mobile Management 7.0 • Customers will need to purchase Symantec Mobile Management separately Altiris IT Management Suite 7.0 Licensing, Pricing, and Entitlements – Symantec Confidential
