What Do We Dream About? • Most of our dreams are about ordinary, daily events – work, school, family, friends, … • We commonly dream about unpleasant things

Now for Fun Stuff..... “They Say if you dream about.....” 1. Baby • Signifies innocence, warmth, new beginnings • May symbolize something in your own inner nature which is pure, vulnerable, and/or corrupt • May represent an aspect of yourself that is vulnerable and helpless
Dreamsand Babies....... • Forgot you had a baby – trying to hide your vulnerabilities; don’t want people to know of your weaknesses • On way to hospital to have baby – issues of dependency and desire to be completely cared for; trying to get out of some responsibility; if pregnant, anxieties about making it to the hospital • Crying baby – part of you is deprived of attention and needs some nurturing; unfulfilled goals; a sense of lacking in your life • Starving a baby – dependence on others; some deficiency in your life that needs immediate attention and gratification • Extremely small baby – symbolizes your helplessness, fears of letting others become aware of your vulnerabilities and incompetence; may be afraid to ask for help and tend to take matters into your own hands • Dead baby – the ending of something that is a part of you
Dreams and Cars..... • Indication of your dependence and degree of control over your life, ambition, drive. and ability to navigate your life between the stages whether you are the driver or passenger indicates whether you have an active or passive role in your life; in backseat you are putting yourself down and allowing others to take over (low self-esteem or confidence) • Stolen car – stripped of your identity (loosing job, failed relationship) • Overheating car – too much energy and need to slow down or you may become burnt out; you are taking on more than you can handle • Parked car – you need to turn your efforts or energies elsewhere OR you need to stop and enjoy life • Cannot find parked car – you are not sure were you want to go in life • Almost hit by car – your lifestyle, beliefs, or goals are in conflict with another’s; could represent a jolting experience or hurt pride • Unable to roll up window – you are showing hesitation and reservation about the direction you are taking in life
