  3. Examples • Ouch! I just stubbed my toe. • Yes! I can’t believe we won the game. • Well, that didn’t go as good as I expected it to. • Shoot! I forgot my homework.

  4. Practice • Yeah! Are you guys going to be there, too? • Aw, I’m sorry to hear that. • You have no idea what it’s like. Ugh. • I know, but, well, I just don’t want to.
